About Assahira
Since 2008, Assahira has been working in support of street arts and live performances in public spaces.
Based on a model of production, distribution, artistic support, and programming, the association supports projects that create a dialogue between artistic creation, social engagement, and cultural accessibility.

Our Mission
Assahira supports companies and artists from all backgrounds in the development, dissemination, and promotion of their shows.
We believe the street is a space for encounter, emotion, and artistic freedom.
Our goal: to foster connections between artists and audiences outside traditional frameworks, and to promote street arts both in France and internationally.

Our Activities

• Production and distribution of street performances: theater, music, visual performances, large-scale creations…

• Artistic programming for festivals and cultural events, notably in Saint-Savine, Saint-Dizier, Douai, and Colombia, with particular attention to diversity and quality of the offerings.

• Artistic consulting and support: development assistance, networking, logistics, and communication.

• Organization of eco-responsible events and tours, in partnership with cultural organizations and local authorities.

• Festival La Ruée vers l’Autre: a showcase of public-space creation and world cultures.
