Eco-site "Le Nin"
in Villiers-le-Brûlé (Piney, 10220)
To implement its ecological commitments, the Assahira association has acquired land located in the Orient Forest Natural Park, in the town of Piney (Aube). This place was baptized LE NIN, which means "The Nest" in Champagne, in reference to the many birds that frequent the park.
In this place of life and sharing, Assahira has started various projects:
* Development of the land in a way that respects nature, favoring biological diversity and keeping wasteland areas
* Planting or saving a tree for each show performed (fruit trees, shrubs, local plants)
* Maintenance of existing facilities (caravans) and development in a responsible manner by making them totally autonomous in terms of energy
* Hiring of a visual artist to highlight the natural installations of the site
Other upcoming projects:
* Installation of hives to help pollination
* Creation of an autonomous vegetable garden in permaculture
* Creation of micro-forests
* Construction of dry toilets
